Scottish restaurant in JP closes original location as it prepares to move to larger space

The Haven announced yesterday it's shut its Perkins Street location as it gets ready to move to the former Bella Luna space in the Brewery.

Thank you for TWELVE YEARS of magic in that place. Can’t wait to welcome you to our new spot very, very soon.

Owner Jason Waddleton had originally hoped to keep both locations open, but was unable to get a second liquor license so that he could continue offering liquor at both locations. The Boston Licensing Board voted to approve a license if one were available, but none were.
