GBH to bolster racial and socioeconomic coverage

Dan Kennedy reports the station will use a $750,000 grant from the Barr Foundation to cover "racial and socioeconomic equity issues in Greater Boston and beyond." The foundation recently gave the Globe a similar grant for similar coverage.

What a perfect place for the Barr Foundation to advocate for 100% affordable housing.

The City of Boston owns this piece of waterfront property and it would be a great place for 100% affordable housing. A perfect place to use linkage monies. A waterfront parking lot would be replaced by a place to help families live in this stifling housing market.

This will help with "racial and socioeconomic equity issues in Greater Boston and beyond".
