More apartments proposed for Everett Street in Allston
A Florida developer says it will soon file plans to replace what it calls a "little used commercial building at 250 Everett St. in Allston with a six-story, 250-unit apartment building with about 117 parking spaces in an underground garage.
Mill Creek Residential Trust of Boca Raton, FL, says 17% of the units would be rented as affordable.
The proposed building would be the latest new building in an area that is seeing a transformation from largely commercial and industrial structures to residential - most notably the Allston Yards development on the neighboring Stop & Shop parcel, which, when completed, will have 868 apartments, life-sciences labs and retail space.

Florida developer, eh
I would prefer it if we could divest from Florida as a matter of policy, altogether.
This is where I would say
(Blank) will die in our lifetime...but Ron DeSantis ain't going anywhere soon, unfortunately.
