Police report men grabbing, groping women near local campuses; one arrest made

Suspects in two sexual assaults

Boston and Simmons University Police report two sexual assaults on women near the Simmons and Northeastern campuses in recent days, while Boston University Police report making an arrest for two sexual assaults along their campus yesterday.

Boston Police report they are looking for a guy (in pink in the photo) they say sexually assaulted a woman at Tremont and Hammond streets in Roxbury, near the Northeastern campus, around 5:45 p.m. on Monday.

He's described as "a Hispanic male, wearing an orange t-shirt, blue jeans, backpack, and may have had tattoos on his forearms."

Simmons Police, meanwhile, report they are looking for a suspect (the guy wearing the pom-pom hat) at the Fenway and Palace Road (so also near Boston Latin School) on Oct. 18:

Male subject approached female college student then made inappropriate sexual comments to her then attempted to touch her before being scared away.

Boston University Police, meanwhile, report two women BU students were "inappropriately touched" on Commonwealth Avenue near Silber Way at 10:45 a.m. and on a BU shuttle bus, also near Silber Way, around 7:10 p.m., both on Tuesday.

Police report that with assistance from Boston Police, they arrested a suspect overnight. They did not identify him, but described him as a Black man, about 5'5".
