Two women stabbed in Dedham; man also taken to hospital

Update: The Globe reports the man, who allegedly stabbed the women, died at the hospital after he was tased by police at the scene.

Dedham Police report two women were stabbed on Jackson Pond Road around 6 p.m.

They add: "A male party believed to be involved in the incident has also been transported to a local hospital."

Police add that while the violence remains under investigation, the incident was "not random" and there is no threat to the public.
