Patrick spotted the Nuclear Emergency Support Team's radiation-sensing helicopter over Boylston Street today, doing the annual pre-Marathon check of background-radiation levels, just in case.

We make the same check every day at the nuclear panner plant. Grimey used to be in charge of it.

What if someone moved their radiologic materials into the area before the annual copter survey? Or do they have baseline data that they are working with to find exactly this - signal in a location that isn't permitted for such?
