Fire displaces eight in Roslindale

Boston firefighters responded to 69 Averton St. in Roslindale around 6:20 p.m. for a fire.

The Boston Fire Department reports the fire, which firefighters contained to the attic, displaced six adults and two children. There were no injuries, the department reports, adding the cause is under investigation.
