The Dorchester Reporter reports on the complaints over the way Eddie Crispin was demoted from deputy BPD superintendent to sergeant detective after he took a seat on the state Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission.
I went to high school with him and no one ever said anything bad about him.
He has raised a good family and people I have spoken with over the years under his command and who have been trained by him never have anything but good things to say about him.
He is the polar opposite of the dimwits who were on the stand in court in Dedham a few weeks ago. If you think "ACAB", this guy isn't one of them.

The Mayor has bollixed this one up rightly.
Can we summarily demote ...
A few city council members?
If you can only demote one
It really should be Sharon Durkin. Her district would get more representation from her empty chair.
Because
Boston Police Suck.
Duh.
