Roslindale: The award-nominated neighborhood

WBUR reports the role Futura Productions in Roslindale Square (at the top of the building where Distraction Brewing is) played in the production of A Gentleman of Istanbul, which is up for a Grammy tonight for best engineered classical album.

Fans of the Pleasant Cafe, meanwhile, will recognize a scene from the Oscar-nominated Paul Giamatti movie, The Holdovers, filmed inside the longstanding Roslindale restaurant (one of several over the past couple years that have scenes inside the unchanging restaurant).
