A legend to be certain.

But his younger brother gets my money. I fondly recall his Somerville Theatre shows in the 90s, bike helmets on the balcony rail.

"How do you like them apples?"

Thirsty Scholar was in the beginning of the Social Network.

Bow and Arrow near where the Friendly Toast in Harvard Square is now was the Harvard bar in Good Will Hunting.

next to Friendly Toast was an ice cream shop where the "apples" line happened.

I believe the ice cream shop in question was a Baskin-Robbins

Going out to bars, clubs socializing far less than previous generations. Same thing happening in other countries.

Fitting that a bar with that name closes at graduation.

The new place should be named "Tenure Track" or maybe just "Indebted"

I was one of the original staff when the place first opened. Fun group of people worked there and I often wonder where they are now.

Met my wife there and years later we would bring our kids over for lunch.

Lots of fun times there. Life moves on they say.

And when the fight was over
They retired to the Clover
Silver Dollar, Thirsty Scholar
Whatever pubs they had back then

The band is also gone now, but the name of the bar will be preserved in the recordings of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
