What does Big Wind have against Nantucket Sound?

I think they should disclose their funding sources on camera. Oil, oil, nuclear, oil ....

AudWoman was the "mastermind" behind the poster that put out the poster with the wind towers superimposed on that ugly Cape Cod Canal power plant - the idea was to associate wind power with that filthy monstrosity. Can you say "predictable backfire" or "spectacular own goal"? Most people took one look at that and said - that looks nicer - will they close the oil-fired plant if we get wind power?

The SOS types also love to deny the fact that their "paradise" regularly clocks higher ozone levels than California, and Nantucket and the Vineyard have the high asthma rates amongst year-rounders to show for it.

Only they don't live there year round ... and I somehow doubt they will pledge to live without the electricity provided by that lovely oil-fired plant

Perhaps they should go watch kids die in emergency rooms in New Bedford at times like, oh, last week because of Brayton Point's generation of power for their sorry asses.
