Woman attacked in Porter Square

A woman walking through the Somerville side of Porter Square around 11:30 p.m. yesterday was grabbed from behind by "an unknown male who attempted to indecently assault her," the city alerts residents.

He's described as 5'9" with short, straight hair. He wore a black jacket, baggy pants and "nice shoes."

That description of the unknown male kinda sucks.

Anyways, moral of the story is don't walk on the wrong side of the tracks.

The moral of the story is to blame the victim for walking home?? Also, since when is Porter Square area Somerville the "wrong side of the tracks" to begin with?

Glad to see Somerville PD is getting this case narrowed down to Air Bud.

Per the Ward 3 ResiStat meeting on Thursday night, the assault location was the corner of Summer St. and Porter St. FYI.
