Car turns turtle on icy Alewife Brook Parkway
By adamg on Thu, 02/05/2015 - 11:10am
Emily O'Donnell passed a car that had flipped over on Alewife Brook Parkway approaching the T station around 9:30 this morning. So take it easy out there.

"Near Rte. 16"?
The entire length of Alewife Brook Parkway, from Concord Ave. in Cambridge to Mystic Valley Parkway in Somerville, is part of Massachusetts Route 16 - so this phrase is both superfluous and meaningless.
Um, Alewife Brook Parkway IS Rte. 16...
... for its entire length. From the Mystic Valley Parkway rotary (16 continues east on MVP) to the upper Concord Rotary.
Near the T station
I'm only familiar with 16 from Newton west, so I plead mea culpa :-). Thanks, fixed.
I give it a 5 out of ten.
This guy gets at least a 9.5 out of 10: http://www.boston.com/news/local/new-hampshire/2015/02/04/car-sticks-lan...
(note - the only eligible incidents are the ones where nobody is hurt)
luv the phrase "turns turtle"
I'll have to use it when referring to a fall as well, ie "Dude, I went turtle on the ice last night". Or, "She turtle'd trying to step off the bus".
