In Brookline, the heating repairmen may be worse than the turkeys
By adamg on Mon, 04/27/2015 - 1:19pm
Because at least the turkeys don't urinate all over your laundry-room floor.
Wicked Local Brookline reports a repairman from Roslindale is charged with doing just that and rummaging around the cabinets while using his customer's clothes to mop up his micturition - after which he allegedly stole her husband's Red Sox tickets.

What
The Actual Fuck?
God we've all been there
God we've all been there amirite
Did he at least fix the heating system?
A good repair man is hard to find. Apparently so is a bathroom.
The part I find more interesting is that the family had interior video cameras in enough places in the house as to catch this guy in the act. I don't know if this is a mark of insightful security or paranoia. I wonder if they use it to check up on the kids too.
Props to the heating company manager for following up on the sox ticket find and not trying to defend the guy. If the company was good they'd call all previous people this guy "serviced" and ask check for stolen items along with an apology.
He fixes the cable?

Security cameras are getting
Security cameras are getting awful cheap and awful common. I live in a neighborhood where it seems every third house has a security camera warning sign on it, and you can see some of the cams up on people's outer walls, porches, etc.
And in this case the security cams may very well be some kind of nanny-cam setup they installed to keep track of the kids. Those are also very common nowadays.
Builders from hell
He went on a "pee parade around the house".
All the tech needed to do was
All the tech needed to do was turn the furnace off and on again.
A+ for Micturation
even if you did misspell it.
Slight correction...
micturition.
Thanks!
Fixed.

You're the man Kerpan
And I think meeting Tom Jones would be awesome (and the winning a national championship and appearing on TV.)
All the same.....
... I would have rather met the Beatles. ;-}
Planning to go to this years Finals in (near, actually) DC in May.
What the hell, Kerpan?
You actually come across as likable and smart and kind. Nice article. No joke.
Thanks
I aspire to those characteristics, at least....
;-}
Confims my assessment about Rozzy
Before I bought my home in Roslindale several years ago, I did some unscientific research on the Boston Police website (which appears to have been redesigned since then and now has less information about arrests). Searching for "Roslindale" produced lots of results, but the vast majority was arrests of people FROM Roslindale and who committed their crimes in other parts of the city. There seemed to be far fewer reports of crimes committed in Roslindale. I felt comfortable living in a community where the miscreants had the courtesy not to shit in their own backyard (or piss in their own laundry room in this case).
So true!
There are over 300 laundry-room urinations in Boston every year. And a one-square-mile neighborhood in Boston, called Roslindale, has produced more urinators than anywhere in the U.S.
48 years old
This guy is 48 years old, and doing these things.
I'm of similar age, and I'd like to think that I have learned enough by now to not pee in a client's laundry room and steal their stuff if I want to keep my job.
Makes me wonder if there are drugs/alcohol/dementia involved.
This would make a great
Ask this Old House episode.
Not that Roslindale plumber
Maybe there's a code of silence and T-Bros won't work against fellow Rosi plumbers?
Uh huh, this kind of guy.
Uh huh, this kind of guy. Somewhere, there is now one less public bathroom that when you walk into it, you think, "Did someone intentionally piss all over the floor in here?" Because someone did, and now he won't be anymore.
Hopefully it's the South Station one.
Now that's
A wicked pissah!
And I can't believe ...
I didn't use that in the headline. Arrgh!
Another example of how
Another example of how addiction(s) of others affects all of us.
You know him personally?
I mean, one could speculate that it is drug/alcohol addiction, sure.
It could also be mental illness or early onset dementia.
That rug really tied the room
That rug really tied the room together, man.
