Thank God we're two-newspaper town, Boston Latin edition

There can be only one? Not when it comes to having the exclusive first interview with Boston Latin School Headmaster Lynne Mooney Teta, apparently. Both the Globe and the Herald have interviews up with Boston Latin School Headmaster Lynne Mooney Teta. Both claim theirs is the first since the start of the Black at BLS protest.
Also neither noted her choice of purple for her outfit, but maybe only people associated with the school somehow would notice that.
But where the Globe just reported what she said, the Herald found her "evasive." In fact, its headline is: "Boston Latin headmaster ducks questions in first interview."

Evasive?
Possibly facing a DOJ probe? Being ridiculed to the nth degree by a some Latin Academy crackpot? Running a school full of 2,500 teenagers and trying to cope with the media firestorm involving a few students being racist jackasses, but what is really just what passes for content the Herald Comment Boards everyday?
I'd be evasive as hell too.
On a side note, Half of the Herald readership is probably mystified why is their so much trouble between blacks and whites and a school for Latins.
I get it
But at the same time, the Globe never called out the NAACP for their ridiculous letter while the Herald did.
However, you didn't interview her, while a reporter from the Herald did! So your blindly supporting her based on you association with the school, and not your presence during an interview.
The Herald sole purpose in covering this episode is a political
one. They see Walsh a a threat to suburban republicans. Their objective is to tie him up in a racial quandary weakening him politically while fanning racial flames among democrats. A politically weaker Boston is good for suburban republicans, aka the Scott Brown demo.
That's a far fetched analogy
Liberals in Boston are constantly bashing Walsh; see GE (which was a tremendous deal if you understand long term growth).
Walsh is an old school democrats who today would have to run nationally as a republican.
Suburbanites are worried about Walsh, they're worried about socialist like Sanders and Liz!
Have you tried standup?
Seriously, Walsh as a Republican? That's a knee slapper.
I dunno
They haven't been hitting Walsh that hard on this.
My theory on the Herald is that despite their Republican leanings, they see African Americans as part of their populist journalism demographic. Hence, just like Boston's unsolved murders, they have grabbed onto this to widen their appeal.
If only they would bring back Knight Life on the funny pages. I miss that so much that I refuse to read the comic strip that took its place.
