Milton man ordered to stay the hell out of Allston after allegedly pointing a loaded gun at two people for no damn reason

A Milton man was arrested early this morning after he allegedly went up to a car parked on Linden Street and pointed a gun at its two occupants after one of them asked if he was OK, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Andrew Regan, 41, had bail set at $1,000 today at his arraignment in Brighton District Court on charges of carrying a gun while intoxicated and assault with a dangerous weapon. Judge David Donnelly ordered Regan to stay out of Allston and Brighton, undergo random alcohol tests and not seek reinstatement of his firearms license while his case is pending, the DA's office reports.

According to the DA's office:

Shortly after 2:30 a.m. today, a man walking in the area of Linden Street in Allston approached two males, ages 21 and 22, as they sat talking inside a stopped vehicle. When asked if he was okay, the man allegedly pulled out a firearm and pointed it at one of the men inside the vehicle. The vehicle quickly drove off and the victim called 911.

Boston Police responded to the area and located a man in the area of Harvard and Brighton avenues, later identified as Regan, who matched the description provided by the victim and witness. According to prosecutors, Regan was unsteady on his feet and slurred his words as officers spoke to him. He was carrying a licensed Smith & Wesson 9 mm that was loaded with eight rounds of ammunition.

The victim and witness both positively identified Regan as the man who pointed a gun at the victim, prosecutors said.

DA Dan Conley, who's keeping his guns?

The person can give them to someone he knows that has an LTC. Or he has to surrender them to the licensing authority, either Milton or Boston and they will store the guns for the person.

Or if his LTC is suspended, they give him an FID and he can just keep them in his home or business only.

Or the PD can pass them off to a scumbag bonded warehouse in exchange for a kickback which is essentially civil forfeiture theft in this state.

Those were firearms already owned and paid for by the state police, not firearms belonging to citizens.

To my knowledge Boston doesn't engage in the practice. But a few departments in state are notorious for using shady bonded warehouses to pad their budgets.

Yea stupid, but you don't see DA Coney running around town drunk out of his mind threating residents with a loaded firearm. You speak like a true responsible gun owner.
