Neponset Circle bank held up

The Santander Bank branch at 780 Gallivan Blvd. was held up around 3:10 p.m. by two young white men in hoodies, both 5'7" or 5'8", who ran up Gallivan towards Hallet Street - based on the money with an exploded dye pack police found on Clover Street. One suspect, in a black hoodie, wore a surgical mask.

I used to service bank cameras when there was a Shawmut bank by Old City Hall. It was popular with bank robbers due to the heavy vehicle traffic and the nearby T stations. The older tellers had been robbed enough to be annoyed rather than scared and they would dye pack everyone.

I arrived at one robbery there to find the dye-covered bag a ways down the street and a dye-covered T-shirt several yards further.

Bank robbers are not very smart.

Anyone check Charlestown??

Being a Bostonian. To be frankly honest with you I am so happy and relieved all/most those different Boston area stereotypes are now debunked because of the richness, spirituality, fullness, and diversity of our neighborhoods etc.

Let's not be fooled into thinking we live in the Utopic world, there's always room for improvement.

But I sure do love it now living and working here in Boston.
