Driving test for drivers license in Boston

I have just failed the driving test two times at the Reading DMV. Each time it was for backing up but each time I have taken the test the expectations are different according to the testor. Has anyone taken the driver's test somewhere else where it is a little easier?

WHAT?????? a little easier????? if you cant pass the test, go back to driver's ed!! this isnt a high school algebra test. you might actually hurt someone.

If you can't master the elementary skills necessary to pass the road test then either get more training or stay off the roads. And this is in the US where road tests are notoriously easy. I wonder what would happen to the original poster in a country like Germany where they actually make sure you can drive before handing you a license.

("crash". heh heh. Is this the "crash" I know?)

no this isnt the crash you know. i picked this name as i was picturing tad7342 driving a mv. there are just way too many bad drivers on the road, and once you pass the initial test, you are never re-tested. i will pay for tad7342's bus pass so that we never have to be subjected to his/her unsafe operation of a mv on our roads. i am really curious about tad - male or female? young or old? is tad a recent immigrant? please respond tad.

I took it in Watertown a couple of years ago and it wasn't so bad. I think it depends on which Trooper you get. Some of the guys are hard asses, but my guy was really relaxed and didn't make me feel nervous.

I took it in NH - failed the first time, passed on the second shot. The first guy smoked a cigar in my car with the windows rolled up. I guess that's NH for you...
