State Police might want to have a word with their counterparts at BPD about snow

Snow-covered Boston Police cruiser on the Southeast Expressway

Yesterday, State Police went on social media to urge motorists to clear the snow off their roofs before getting on the road. Looks like word didn't filter into Boston: EmbraceTheBald spotted this BPD vehicle on the Expressway this morning.

I saw an unmarked vehicle patrolling Warren St. the other day with its rear window still completely covered in snow!

And the cops who do clean the snow off their car probably bill taxpayers 5 hours of overtime pay for 30 seconds of snow removal.

It's the space saver logic. 20 minutes of work = 5 days of benefits.

So do you hate cops or cars more? Do cop cars make you bonkers?

He keeps salaries high for all city workers. We need nuts like him (her).

... the thin blue line folks want us to believe that *any* criticism of *any* misbehavior by *any* law enforcement equates to cop-hating.

The dude wants to ban cars from West Roxbury. People who think like that keep a lot of others in business and its good for the economy. Never commented on anything else. But you wanted to turn the narrative that way which is on you, not some joker like Kino, or some dufus cop who can’t take 10 minutes to clean the snow off his car.

Check the indentation -- I wasn't replying to you: Kinopio makes a reference to the police OT scandal, and Dotfromwayback immediately asks Kino about his hatred for cops.

(For whatever it's worth, my reference to the "thin blue line crowd" doesn't include most police, and certainly doesn't include you; I have always found you to be someone who adds a sane perspective to this site. The "thin blue line crowd" refers to those folks who get all butt hurt and defensive and hostile when anyone tries to point out that with somewhere around a million sworn law enforcement officers in the country, some of them are inevitably going to be bad dudes. )

Maybe you should re-read douche bags post again. Try using some reading comprehension this time. Douche bag says nothing about the overtime scandal. You injected that into the convo because you're butt hurt about something. As usual.

Cops dress for war not winter. They don't have ice scarpers in their cruises and if they do their fellow officers steal them for their own personal cars.

No other place to the snow when the parking spot was shoveled.

I’ve been noticing BPD patrolling the highways around Boston lately. Before, it used to be the state police. Anyone know why?
