No, it's not really fair, but a train died at Andrew Square

Everybody off the train at Andrew

Just because Red Line riders are still affected by Tuesday's derailment doesn't mean other things can't go wrong. Jules Wang was among the people ordered off an outbound train that developed a sudden case of the vapors or something at Andrew around 1:30 p.m. - at the same time the T was announcing Ashmont delays due to "police activity" at Fields Corner.

And has there been an apology for the inconvenience yet?

These recent Red Line issues precede Poftak's time as GM, but he's the one front and center. When the T has a ribbon cutting, Pollack is front and center. When the T has a crisis, Pollack runs to a bunker (remember the Ramirez termination?)

At the swanky UMASS club in Downtown Boston, Pollack was giving a speech while the Red Line was in a heap. My entire table was murmuring - why is she here and not down at JFK-UMASS.

With all the problems the MBTA is having the last thing they need is brawling teens from gladiator schools fighting for control of the red line.

Tuesday evening, they took a north bound Orange Line train out of service at Wellington. The train was still mostly full at that point as there had been previous delays. I was one of the last off my car, and as I got off, a guy got on,despite the fact that 1.) everyone else had gotten off the car, 2.) there was a large crowd on the platform, 3.) there was no one else in the car and 4.) there were loud announcements that the train was out of service. I told him the train was out of service, he looked at me, and sat down in the empty train. I really do not understand people.

when Riverside trains turn there. In fact, the train operators will walk the cars after the doors have been closed to verify nobody is still on board. Which only adds additional delay for the following trains waiting to enter the station - thanks to the MBTA's rules against multiple trains berthing on a platform at the same time.

platforms is a dumb rule. But we need to have careful operators (or automated) so it seems.

I believe that every time there's a t equipment broken down and it's inconvenience in the public that the governor and other Transportation politicians should be forced to respond to your location. The purpose of them responding is to listen to The Traveling public concern. At least one of their representatives should respond to any inconveniencing situation that happens on the MBTA. Preferably a high-ranking individual in the office. Please bring your pin your pad or some type of recording device to hear out people's concerns and how these inconveniences a hurting people this is not funny anymore.
