Somebody really liked hanging around the Red Line tonight

Spiderman on the Red Line

Darbie reports Petey here was hanging like that from at least Park Street to JFK/UMass tonight.

There's nothing for them to say.

Mind your own business.

Isn't it weird for the editor of the Daily Bugle to be commenting on the pages of other media outlets?

I'll take that over people who-wear their backpacks on a packed train, don't move to let people off, etc.

Some people have no decorum.

That you used the word "decorum" in a post about the T.

riding the subway who let them behave however they want. Kids swinging, jumping up on seats next to strangers, being unnecessarily loud and obnoxious, showing no respect for fellow passengers. It's become very commonplace. I had a kid last night cough repeatedly inches from my face without covering his mouth. His mommy just smiled and let out a loud yawn also without covering her mouth.

Many people, in general, show zero respect on crowded trains, getting on and off trains, going up and down stairs, on crowded sidewalks. They don't keep to the right, always expect the other person to get out of their way. No civility. My conclusion is many simply have never learned good manners growing up. Many most likely come from places a lot less crowded than Boston (by Boston I include many surrounding communities.) They have mastered that all American passive aggressive phoney smile but that's the extent of their social skills around strangers.

If he/she fell and landed on you, you wouldn't be amused. If he/she injured themselves while acting like an immature child, resulting in a dreaded 'medical emergency'; you wouldn't be amused.

Can I be amused up until that happens? Or is no amusement allowed at all. Just want to get the rules straight so I know how to feel when I am inevitably faced with this exact situation.

How does he keep his hat on? Cute as a bunny until somebody gets slammed. But life is short, enjoy it while possible. If hanging around is their thing....

At least he or she looks like they're doing something besides being glued to a cell phone.
