Brigham's on Mass Ave July 1993. I recommend the Oakland Athletics cup.

The Slider Sundae is advertised in their Harvard Square store. I assume it's in the others as well.

Yep, J.P. Licks has the Slider Sundae at all locations (although not currently, because it's not season yet! They'll bring them back in April.)

The Daily Scoop in Stoneham, MA does for sure. Multiple teams as well.

I always thought it was callled Dairy Dome. But yes they’ll do ice cream in a Mini plastic baseball batters helmet. They also will make ice cream cakes out of any flavor they have you just need to order ahead of time. Enjoy!

When I was about 8, they had the whole set available, and my family decided we had to collect them all. My (full size) hat is off to the waitresses who patiently waited while Dad sketched out the Brewers and Padres logos on napkins just in case they had any sitting somewhere in the back.

Believe it or not the Ground Round does still exist, although there are very few left and I believe they're all franchises now. I have been to the one in Rutland VT a couple of times with mixed results. There is also one in Hallowell Maine (by Augusta), Bangor Maine, Plattsburgh NY, Brookhaven NY (Long Island), and Langhorne PA (near Philadelphia). Beyond that your best bet is the upper midwest. Next time you are close by to any of these areas, make it part of your next trip! https://groundround.com/locations/

OMG I loved The Ground Round. Great place. In 1977 we had a visit from my grandfather from Ireland and I took him to the one in Norwell. I was 19. He kept looking down at the floor, amazed that popcorn and peanut shells littered it. The last one I ever went to was at Alewife Circle back in the 80's-90's. So many wonderful places to eat and drink that are no more.

I went to Carvel so many times for the hat sundae cups, the store owner gave me the MLB Standing Board at the end of the summer!

If you don't have a deadline, please take the Red Line, get off at Davis and get your licks at JP's. They had a stack of the helmets waiting for you today. I recommend you fill it with the s'mores ice cream.
