City Councilor Matt O'Malley (Jamaica Plain, West Roxbury) and cute little fuzzies from MSPCA joined today to proclaim World Spay Day in Boston in honor of efforts by the MSPCA and others to help people get their pets spayed. MSPCA-Angell is in O'Malley's district.

Immediately upon getting his photo taken, O'Malley dropped the dog and ran out of the Council chambers and was not heard from again, and certainly wasn't involved in anything else the council did today, right?

Yes, O’Malley has been the one local official with the courage to say he supports the Centre Street road diet. Everyone else like Rush or Coppinger dodges the issue and can’t be found.
