A woman dying of coronavirus had nobody to talk to - except a nurse who really cared

WBUR recounts the last moments of "Ann" - an elderly woman with no known family to talk to, even if just by tablet, as she succumbed to Covid-19 at Cambridge Hospital. But she did have Linda Lombardi, a psychiatric nurse who had been caring for her since 2007, and who was with her, via iPad, in her last 90 minutes.

"I just couldn't let her die alone," she says. "I just couldn't do it."

Thank goodness for the kindness of Linda, and all nurses like her. So sad to think of those like Ann who may not have had anyone to step in.
