Citizen complaint of the day: The fireworks that never end

Despite today being July Fifth, Boston's 311 system is still full of fireworks complaints, a number with less than nice things to say about Marty Walsh, as well as at least one referencing people taking matters into their own hands:

Large group of men on Hancock Street headed to Columbia rd looking for the ones responsible for fireworks. Hope they get them.

I heard that they found the losers shooting the fireworks and the losers pissed their pants and ran home to mommy and their moms told them that fireworks are for morons and that they wished they never gave birth to them.

A guy dressed up as a rake just punched a punch of fireworks in the face! Thank you, Rakeman! You are our hero!

Her response last night was to douse the nightly noisemakers with torrential rains, lightning bolts and thunder. Her plan worked!

I thought for sure the rain would help but they were still going last night near Ronan. Not as crazy as usual but still enough to wake me up a few times an hour for a couple of hours. Shook the house.

Would be a funny thing if what finally sinks Marty Walsh with Boston voters is the endless fireworks that basically everyone is sick of.

Damn it, Marty! Stop shooting off fireworks all night long! We're trying to sleep.

It's even funnier that you single out Walsh. This should never been allowed to become a problem in the first place and when it did, the citizens should have solved. Much like space savers, the behavior is okay for me, but not for you. It's called the golden rule, even when its hard.

A couple of (not very) fun fact about Phantom Fireworks, the nation's premier dealer of consumer fireworks. I dredged this from the internet during some sleepless nights filled with explosive noises.

1- The highly successful Seabrook (NH) Phantom Fireworks shop was the Boston Marathon bomber's preferred supplier of explosives. I have a slogan for them: "Phantom Fireworks, Terrorizing Bostonian Since 2013"

How tariffs on fireworks got eliminated on the day Bruze Zoldan (Phantom Fireworks founder and consumer-fireworks lobbyist extraordinaire) donated $750k worth of fireworks for the 4th of July White House show. In a recent Globe article, Zoldan was suggesting that the best way to address the issue of illegal fireworks in MA was to make them all legal.
