Charles River canoe and kayak rental place shut after worker tests positive for coronavirus

Update: Paddle Boston reports that the employee who tested positive got a second test done, and this time the result came back as negative.

Paddle Boston announced its location on the Charles River in Allston is shut today "due to a positive covid 19 test for one of our staff at the site." Refunds or reservations for another day are available.

Several MBTA workers have tested positive and the masks required policy is a joke and we don't shut down the MBTA.

They're stringent with reservations, distancing, and masks too. Hope this person shakes it off.

I've been able to substitute a CA flight with a NJ road trip, and baseball is a farce this year anyway, so the greatest tragedy for summer leisure is that I've been paddling precisely twice, and it's already August.

I don't think they closed the one on the Mystic River near Medford Square.

I drove past the Kendall Square location, and it was busy. They also have a location in Waltham and two in Newton (which are very nice). I believe that all of them are open except the Brighton location.
