The Charlestown Neighborhood Council shot down comparable plans for the much dilapidated Bunker Hill Housing Project that still remains unfinalized for some 5 years now?
Hopefully that buyer is not acting on behalf of notorious multi-billionaire land banker Gerald Chan. Chan also lives in Newton. Otherwise they may end up with a large blighted area for many years to come, as is happening to us with the Dotblock “project” and some other asset the guy owns in Dorchester. Also happening in a number of places throughout Cambridge and Somerville from what I’ve read.
