Fight at Harvard Square T stop ends with man stabbed repeatedly, police say; one arrested, at least one sought
Transit Police report arresting a Lynn man on charges he tried to carve somebody up with a knife at the Harvard Square T stop around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police say Chinier Bennett, 23, was one of several men who turned a verbal confrontation into a physical one, but the only one who took out a knife, which he used to stab the victim several times. The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive, police say.
Police say detectives found Bennett the next day, outside the Downtown Crossing T stop and arrested him on several charges, including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon with intent to murder.

Starting tonight the Transit Police will be issuing 300 dollars no mask fines to anyone who is on MBTA property riding without a a mask according to the Governor.

This appears to be the same Chinier Bennett who was indicted on child sex trafficking charges for hosting the "Boom Boom Room" a few years back.
