Harvard Square bank held up

Cambridge Police report the TD Bank branch at 1270 Massachusetts Ave. in Harvard Square was held up around 4 p.m. on Monday, by a man who showed a note and then fled even further into the square.

The suspect was described as white and in his 40s wearing a blue hat, jeans and a hoodie. He also wore a mask - a blue surgical one.

You mean those Harvard Square banks actually have money?
I thought they were coffee dispensaries and banking advice and advertising/promotion centers.

That TD location used to be Briggs & Briggs, a great music store when Harvard Square was still the real Harvard Square. I still think of it whenever I pass by there. They had musical instruments, albums, sheet music, all kinds of interesting things. A little on the pricey side though.
