Today the Blue Line really bites due to fiery problems at Orient Heights
By adamg on Wed, 07/17/2024 - 9:44pm
A transformer at Orient Heights on the Blue Line blew this afternoon, bringing firefighters running and trains to a halt.
Boston firefighters responded around 5:50 p.m. and the MBTA shut down power in both directions. Firefighters then doused the flames. But delays due to problems related to the transformer continued through the evening; the T only announced at 9:15 p.m. that things were back to normal.

No, seriously
Who looks at this photo, and thinks "This is tenable, and a happy and productive society?"
Nothing that good censorship
Nothing that good censorship cannot solve.
"censorship" lol
Someone buy the bot a dictionary.
And a civics course
Understanding the difference between free speech rights and behavioral standards on private property would also help Captain Ketchup with his whole persecution complex.
The T on fire
Is what passes for normal at this point.
But the new fare collection system
will solve everything.
It's just a billion or so
We can totally walk and chew gum at the same time. It's gone from dreaming about new lines whisking us away to far away places or getting us to the same place by more efficient routes, to just hoping it might be running and moving at acceptable speed. So sad.
Take the ferry instead?
I guess it depends on what your final destination is, but taking the ferry to some areas served by the blue line might be an option.
