Williamson and BrittThe MBTA reports two teens were arrested yesterday on charges they tried to rob a man by grabbing him as he was getting on a bus at Warren and Waverly streets in Roxbury.
According to a police report, the man, 63, was able to maintain his grip on his wallet after he was pulled off the 23 bus and the two teens fled - along with a pack of eight other teens, all dressed in black and red, and one with a pit bull.
Andrew Britt, 17, of Dorchester and Sadiq Williamson, 18, of Roxbury, were charged with attempted armed robbery after, police say, officers found a knife on Williamson.
Innocent, etc.

My congratulations to the fine work the 'T' Police are doing in the poorest neighborhoods of the city. If memory serves me correct all these busses are equipped with cameras. I hope the MBTA release the video to the public.
Andrew and Sadiq you have a grim future unless you change

You will be tried as adults. Robbing old people is taken seriously.
I predict time at South Bay or maybe even Concord if things don't break for you.
I wonder whether it was really armed robbery, though. Armed robbery requires that you brandish or at least say you have a weapon.
Finding a knife in a pocket isn't enough.
Still, even simple robbery can get you a lot of time.
