Police: Man began punching one woman on an Orange Line train after exposing himself to another
Transit Police report arresting a Dorchester man on charges he began punching a woman he didn't know sitting next to him on an inbound Orange Line train yesterday afternoon - not long after he exposed himself to another woman.
Anthony Samuel, 25, was charged with assault and battery on an elderly person - the woman he punched in the head and chest was 63 - and open and gross lewdness.
Officers arrived at the Chinatown station around 1:15 p.m. to find another passenger restraining Samuel on the platform. That was after other passengers teamed up to pull Samuel off the woman in the train.
As they investigated his alleged attack and tended to the woman - eventually taken to the hospital with head and chest pain - another woman came up to them and said that Samuel had exposed himself to her at Ruggles.
Samuel is scheduled for arraignment today in Boston Municipal Court.

The Aristocrats!
But seriously, glad that passengers stepped in to help, that they weren't injured, and that this guy was apprehended.
Signs of spring finally here!
Animal sexual and dominance displays. Seriously, though, this guy ought to get targeted for domestic violence follow up because both of his victims were women.
Domestic violence does not
Domestic violence does not equal random female victims.
Domestic violence requires some sort of ongoing personal, shall we say, domestic relationship. The victims may be either gender.
So you think he respects women?
and isn't showing signs he may have difficulty in any relationships he may have with women?
Oh, I get it
Men brutalize women because it is springtime and they just can't be expected to control themselves!
Nice.
Thank you T riders
for stopping this sicko and restraining him until police arrived. The risk you took in helping the victim made us all safer.
And don't forget to do it again next week...
...because our justice system never puts these guys away, we just recycle them like a $4 bottle of mineral water.
Mental Illness, or no?
This could be the result of mental illness left untreated.
