Man stabbed in the back in East Boston

Around 10:30 p.m. on Bennington Street, between Meridian and Marion streets. The victim, stabbed twice in the back, ran into a bar near Meridian for help. Two suspects ran towards Border.

is quite nasty. I hope with the Central Sq. redevelopment and the new high end condos going in by the Shaws that the whole area will start to improve. As it, it's insufferably crowded, dirty and dingy. Where is the BRA when there is real urban blight to be fought? Where is East Boston Main Streets? *chirp chirp chirp

We need more BPD presence on the streets - all those squad cars sitting in the crosswalks across from the Shell station do us no good.
