One dead in Dorchester triple shooting

UPDATE: Victim identified as Phillip Woods, 23.

617 Images reports the three were shot at Nightingale and Wales streets around 2:20 a.m. The dead victim was pronounced at the scene. Boston Police report all three were men in their early 20s.

A bullet went through a wall and into a nearby resident's apartment.

I live on that street and actually heard the shot while i was sleeping. It was loud and sounded as if it was in my room. I dove for the ground and stayed on the floor until i heard sirens. This is one of many shooting in this area

First I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the family friends in community which this young man was murdered and praying that those who did survive the shooting heal quickly recover quickly and be released to your loved ones.

I am deeply saddened to hear the fact that Community heard the shots and some had to take cover Wunderground as if they were in Iraq. These things should not be accepted at the door in this city. This reminds me of other incidents for example the young boy who was wearing his Boston Celtics Rondo jersey when some idiot decided to have a shootout in front of his house and nearly taken the life the of this little boy and coming close to striking his body and holes in his jersey.

I recently saw his brother who actually pulled the turkey out of a box and showed me the holes unbelievable
