Police charge more than just food was on the menu at Charlestown eatery

That's a pound of fentanyl, not dough, the DA's office says.

Boston Police report raiding a Bunker Hill Street restaurant they say doubled as a drug salesroom.

After the raid, around 1:30 p.m., yesterday, ISD was called in to immediately shut D'Rafa Restaurant, 156 Bunker Hill St., due to the potential dangers of the drugs in the place - heroin, cocaine and fentanyl - police say.

Arrested: Rafel Pimental, 46, Juan Guerrero-Torrest, 28, Matea Sanchez, 60, Rosselys Pimental-Melo, 23, and Ada Mejia-Mejia, 40, all of Charlestown, and all charged with trafficking heroin, trafficking fentanyl and trafficking cocaine.

Police say they seized half a kilogram of fentanyl, 29 bags of crack, 10 bags or heroin and $7,144 in cash.
