Police say officers who heard gunfire in the area of 130 Heath St. arrived in time to spot a man running onto Bickford Avenue.

Officers observed the suspect retreat into the rear of 36 Wensley Street before jumping a fence into an adjacent backyard. Responding officers set a perimeter and soon located the suspect lying face down on the ground in the side yard of 46 Wensley Street. Officers placed the suspect in custody and then located and recovered a loaded 9mm Ruger P85 from the backyard of 36 Wensley Street.

Antonio Garcia-Rivera, 18, was charged with discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a large-capacity feeding device.

Well I'm not overly concerned what day did actually happen. However I would like to congratulate all the law enforcement officers that participated in affecting a arrest on this individual.
From my understanding commissioner Gross has ordered beefed-up Patrols with inside the housing complex Mildred Hailey Apartments

Now I plead with Boston Housing Authority and The City of Boston to increase the LIGHTING IN AND AROUND THE HOUSING COMPLEX. Its is far far to dark in the Housing Complex.
The Mildred Hailey Apartments area it's just too too dark in that area.
