Charlestown man charged with marina rage

Boston Police report arresting a Constitution Marina customer on charges he waved a gun around at the marina after leaving "threatening notes" on another owner's boat slip.

Jeffery Oliveira, 36, was charged with assault by means of a dangerous weapon (firearm), unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition for the incident Tuesday evening.
.
Police say officers arrived around 6:25 p.m. on reports of "a person yelling and waving an object in his hand that looked like a magazine to a gun." Police say:

Officers observed a male matching the suspect’s description and stopped him in the area of 28 Constitution Road. Officers encountered Jeffery Oliveira, 36 of Charlestown, in front of the marina building and asked him if he had any weapons on his person but Oliveira refused to speak to officers. After further investigation it was revealed that Oliveira had placed two bags inside the marina door. Officers searched the bag and recovered a loaded silver and brown Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol, and a loaded black Smith & Wesson .38 special revolver.
