As much as I totally get how you'd want to stop someone from stealing your car when you are standing right there, it's not worth dying for. Hope the car owner is OK.

Uber Eats/Grubhub/whatever driver who "left it running" blocking the bike lane and a lane of traffic while he ran inside to pick up some food...

I almost side with the thief for at least moving the vehicle out of the way.

Yesterday afternoon watched an Uber almost take out 2 cyclists when he made a reckless a u-turn in the middle of Mass. Ave. (block btwn Beacon and Marlborough). Then he had the nerve to double-park in the bike lane while he waited for his lazy customers to slowly make their way to their Uber. If I were those 2 Uber customers I would have reported the driver and canceled the ride. Ride-share drivers are the worst!

Here's a quote:

A man told police he had parked his car in the area of 333 Massachusetts Ave. and got out to remove something from the trunk when the suspect jumped inside and locked the doors.

I'm a little busy today with work - only getting to grab lunch now at 3 - and don't have time...

Could somebody look up the SNL William Shatner TJ Hooker sketch that lampooned the hood-jumping bit and post the link? Thanks ever so much... TTFN
