Man dead in Methadone Mile stabbing

Victim identified as Ricardo Garcia, 34.

Boston Police report officers found a man with a stab wound at Massachusetts Avenue and Peirson Street around 8:35 a.m. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

This is the fourth fatal stabbing this year in the area centered on the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard:

Southampton Street, 1/4.
Mass and Cass, 2/27.
Mass and Cass (victim was both stabbed and suffocated), 4/2.
