Man charged with attempted rape at State Street T station

Transit Police report they have arrested a man they say tried to rape a woman at the State Street T stop around 10:30 p.m. on Friday.

Police originally posted this morning that they were looking for the suspect, but a few hours later, announced the arrest of Luis Salinas, 33, in downtown Boston.

Police credit Twitter users for recognizing Salinas and reporting him to detectives.
