Man had loaded gun on him while trying to kick his way into an apartment on Ruthven Street in Roxbury

Boston Police report arresting one of three men they say were kicking at a door inside 128 Ruthven St. in Roxbury around 7:20 p.m. on Saturday.

Police say officers responded to a 911 call about a disturbance in the building, and found Donyeea Henderson, 21, of Dorchester, and two other men outside an apartment door:

Upon arrival, officers entered the common area of the building and observed Henderson and two other males kicking the door of an apartment. After further investigation, officers recovered a loaded Ruger LCP .380 with seven rounds in the magazine, from Henderson’s waistband. The firearm was equipped with an extended magazine.

Henderson was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of a large-capacity feeding device and trespassing, police say. Police did not say whether the other two men were arrested or why they might have been kicking the door.
