Man stabbed in the neck on River Street in Mattapan Square, suspect arrested

A man was stabbed inside 442 River St. in Mattapan around 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday. Due to the severity of his injuries, the homicide unit was called in, just in case.

Boston Police report arresting Joseph J. Marrow, 70, of Dorchester, at the scene not long after, on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
