Three teens charged with armed robbery in a Dorchester apartment building
Boston Police report arresting three teens - 14, 15 and 16 - on charges they used a loaded gun to rob another teen of his phone and sweatshirt at 157 Washington St. in Dorchester, shortly before 2 p.m. on Thursday.
Police say the victim - who walked more than a mile before flagging down an officer on patrol - identified the suspects, and responding officers found them in the fourth-floor hallway of the building - one floor up from where they allegedly robbed the victim :
As officers approached the suspects, they immediately fled and a foot pursuit ensued.
Two of the suspects were stopped leaving the rear of the building, and the third suspect was stopped a short distance away. Officers retraced the flight path of the suspects and recovered a firearm. The firearm was later determined to be a SCCY CPx2 with one round in the chamber and nine rounds in the magazine.
All three, too young to have their names released, were charged as delinquent for armed robbery, illegal possession of a firearm and illegal possession of ammunition, police say.
