Woman shot to death on Edson Street in Dorchester

Update: Victim identified as Pereshah Shear-Yashub, 27, of Taunton.

Boston Police report a woman was shot at 36 Edson St in Dorchester around 11:15 p.m. on Friday. She was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

This is Boston's fourth murder in 2024.
