Woman charged with stabbing two in Egleston Square, one in the face
Boston Police report arresting a woman this morning about three blocks away from where she is charged with stabbing two people last night in Egleston Square, one in the face.
Sharia Brown, 32, was charged with the double stabbing at 2041 Columbus Ave. around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday.
BPD officers at the scene identified her pretty quickly. Around 8:40 this morning, officers spotted her at the intersection of Columbus Avenue and Washington Street and arrested her on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, police say.
The victim who was stabbed in the face was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive, police say. The other victim was treated at the scene by EMTs.
