Taking bets
What suburb are they going to be from?
I Was Thinking The Same Thing
What's the over/under on Weymouth? Rockland? Methuen?
Why Rockland?
Why?
What's your beef with Rockland?
Is it because it is a working class town filled with a mixture of former Dorchester people and immigrants from Brazil?
Is it because the daughter of Hmong immigrants and a Rockland Public Schools grad just led the US to victory in the Solheim Cup?
Is it?
Why Rockland?
You should run for office...
And put forth a referendum banning satire.
Nope
This is pure bias against a town with a lot of hard working people.
Just shows the bitch bias behavior of all you blow ins to Boston from nice burbs in NJ and CT.
Every town has hardworking people
And every town has its racist blowhards, idiot teens, boomer keyboard warriors, shitty aggro drivers, easily offended snowflakes, religious nutters, etc.
Name something obnoxious - and all 350 and fucking one towns in MA will have someone to represent them. Including Medford. Including Boston. Including Rockland. Including Marshfield.
You can stop with the Mike Barnacle imitation now. You are too young for that.
The Person Who Posted The Burb Comment
Harvard University Grad. Fulfilling The Elitist Prick Stereotype.
I do know a lot of people who live in or are from Rockland. I also know a lot of Harvard people. They don't fulfill the stereotypes that are associated with either. He does.
Given US population distributions
Odds are on that they are from some suburb of somewhere, even if their dorms are in Boston.
John can you just mention a bike lane?
I almost got a UHUB Bingo!
Betting pedantry
Tell me you don't bet without telling me you don't bet...
The "over/under" on all three would pretty much have to be .5 because the range of values is 1 (yes) or 0 (no).
The odds on each would be much more interesting...
Stereotypes are fine
Let's keep it up there, you wonderful people you. You've learned that racial stereotypes are a big no no, but no one told you it's bad to stereotype based on what town you live in, so good on you for jumping all over this opportunity to have some fun with it.
A white cap
Surely, you jest that this man could be involved in antisocial behavior. Fake news.
