You can call him Steve or Whitey or Alba - just don't call him late for dinner

Regardless of his or her name, the white squirrel of the Public Garden is back:
@universalhub Came across this beautiful, white squirrel in the Public Garden just now. Was curious if anyone else has ever seen it/one. @BostonParksDept pic.twitter.com/QK6vsj1wVK

I also saw him today. Sometimes he hangs out on Comm Ave. pic.twitter.com/aRKyjFVlPw

Steve the Squirrel seems to have gotten tired of all the tourists in the Public Garden.

He's a him
He has male junk and tries to mate with other, presumably female, squirrels but be careful with your hetero-normative assumptions at the Public Garden; e.g. the two swans there in the summer are both female yet they mate and lay eggs (that never hatch because they're infertile).
Thanks
For making my day by expressing deeply held feelings about squirrel gender issues.
I thought his name was Steve, but when I replied to the above tweet with that, people in turn responded with the other names people have called him, including Alba (one guess what that means in Latin).
Here I am thinking...
.....that it meant Jessica Alba!
One squirrel begets another
It's funny that this ad is now displaying on the side of uHub...
