Three-alarm fire on Newbury Street displaces five

The Boston Fire Department reports firefighters responded to 128 Newbury St., between Clarendon and Dartmouth streets at 9:50 a.m. for what turned into a 3-alarm fire.
Five residents of the five-story building were displaced by the fire in the building's rear, but there were no injuries, the department reports, adding damage was estimated at $1.5 million.
