To be fair, I've never eaten in the cafe because it's a small road trip to get to the market. But the few times I've taken a dish home, it's been good.
But I hate to see them going through hard times because the place is extremely unique (are there any other German food stores around?) and extremely good (the Westphalia ham is soooo junipery and smokey....sooooo good).
Their freezer pretzels are killer too.
Brilliant bratty pun!

In these days of "sausage fests" this is the hottest dog of a pun I've seen rolled in pixels in a long link of days.
