Roslindale gets its Thai back

Rutchada Thai Cuisine opened this weekend at 153 Belgrade Ave., near Walworth Street, replacing a Thai place that replaced a Chinese place that replaced a Taiwanese place that replaced a Vietnamese place that replaced a Chinese place.

The restaurant, across the street from Obosa, is so new it still doesn't have a sign out front or printed menus, but the kitchen is cooking up a full complement of Thai dishes, including chicken massaman curry and spring rolls, which, the UHub Mobile Action News and Thai Food Unit reports, were spot on today.

Rutchada is open 11-9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 11-9:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and closed on Monday.
